Description
Mounting PL cine lenses on a Sony FX3, FX6 or A7S III with no compromise on flange depth: that's exactly what the DZOFilm Octopus PL – Sony E adapter was built for. It's a purely mechanical adapter with no internal elements, machined to extremely tight tolerances: infinity focus lands where it should and the lenses' distance scales stay reliable, a detail any focus puller will appreciate right away.
The bayonet is stainless steel, the interior is flocked to kill stray reflections, and the support foot with 1/4"-20 thread transfers the weight of the lens onto the plate rather than the camera mount. A PL-side cap is included, protecting the sensor from dust during lens changes.
We often pair it in rental with our PL lens sets and Sony cinema bodies: if you're shooting in Abruzzo we'll prep the combination already mounted and tested before delivery.
