Description
A meter and a half of diameter changes the very nature of a COB: with the Aputure Light Dome 150, even a 600d stops being a point source and becomes a wrapping source, with slow-transition shadows and round catchlights in the eyes thanks to the 32-sided structure. It's the classic key light for interviews, commercials and portraits in motion.
The quick-release mounting with 16 rods opens like an umbrella, with no need to insert struts one by one: every build saves a good ten minutes. Included are two front diffusers (1.5 and 2.5 stops) and the 45° grid to contain spill when working close to walls; the depth is 80 cm, the weight stops at 3.32 kg.
