Description
When a shoot day runs long, the batteries make all the difference. The Swit LB-SU98 is a 98Wh pack with a Sony BP-U type mount that delivers around three hours of real-world runtime on an FX9, and even more on an FX6: a single unit covers half a day's work with nothing to worry about.
What sets it apart from the original BP-U packs are the auxiliary outputs: the 14.4V D-Tap port (up to 70W) powers a monitor, a video transmitter or an on-camera light, while the 5V/2A USB keeps audio receivers and smartphones topped up. The four-level LED gauge shows remaining charge at a glance, without having to mount it on the camera.
We rent it singly or as a pair with charger, and it's the natural companion to our Sony FX6 and FX9. If you're shooting in Abruzzo we deliver it straight to set, already charged.
