Description
There are days when swapping the battery every two hours simply isn't an option: LED lights running non-stop, camera in rec for back-to-back interviews, monitors always on. The Patona Platinum BP-270WS is the high-capacity V-Mount we keep in the fleet for exactly these cases: the 270Wh class delivers a runtime that standard 95–155Wh batteries don't come close to.
The Platinum series uses premium cells with a protection circuit against overload, overtemperature and short circuit, and provides a D-Tap output to power accessories in parallel with the camera. The added weight compared to a 155Wh is felt on the shoulder: we recommend it for stand-based builds, lighting and monitor stations rather than gimbal rigs.
For rental we supply it charged to 100%: for productions shooting in Abruzzo we deliver it straight to the location with the rest of the equipment.
