Description
When the sun beats straight down on a two-shot or a dressed table, a 60 cm panel just won't cut it: you need a large surface above the talent. The Butterfly 3×3 m (12×12 ft) is the overhead frame that solves the problem, ready to take diffusion, ultrabounce or black solid fabrics to soften, bounce or subtract light across wide sections of the set.
We recommend it for day exteriors, car scenes and location interviews where natural light needs to be tamed rather than replaced. The frame breaks down into short tubes that travel in a bag, so transport is never an issue, even in the most awkward locations.
Mounting it calls for two heavy-duty stands with grip heads and sandbags: we add them to the rental as a complete package, with delivery straight to your set in Abruzzo. On request we also supply the fabrics best suited to the scene you're shooting.
