Description
Broadcast-style progressive zoom moves have always been the limitation of stills lenses: the Canon Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 solves the problem on the RF 24-105mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z, effectively turning it into a small cine-servo. The adapter attaches to the lens, draws power from the camera through the lens contacts and delivers a motorized zoom with finely adjustable speeds, from the slowest ramp to a quick snap.
Control comes from the buttons on the unit, from the camera's customizable buttons, or remotely via the Camera Connect app and EOS Utility: useful on gimbals, jibs and in multicamera control rooms, where the operator can't touch the lens. Its design allows it to be mounted and removed even with the lens already rigged.
