When there's more than twenty kilos on top of the tripod — a cinema camera, a broadcast zoom, a heavy matte box — you need a head built for that load. The Cartoni C40 S is designed for exactly this: an 8-step counterbalance that balances builds from roughly 10 to 45 kg and fluid drag adjustable across seven levels, with separate pan and tilt controls for smooth moves even at long focal lengths.
We supply it complete with standard legs, already mated and tested: you arrive on location, level it and roll. The 150 mm sliding plate makes it quick to find the balance point again when you change lenses mid-day, while the illuminated bubble level helps in dark interiors.
It's the head we recommend for commercials, cinema and multi-camera shoots with telephoto lenses. The daily rental can include on-location delivery across Abruzzo, with pickup once the shoot wraps.
