There's a reason the Sachtler Video 18 has been standard kit for ENG crews and documentary shooters for decades: the Speedbalance counterbalance mechanism and the stepped drag make every pan repeatable, identical to the last, in any weather. The 18 kg load class covers the whole range from a rigged mirrorless to a shoulder camcorder with zoom and V-Mount battery.
Our rental kit includes the head with a 100 mm bowl, a Touch & Go quick-release plate, legs with spreader and a carry bag. We recommend it as the main tripod for interviews, live broadcasts and light fiction: it levels in seconds thanks to the illuminated level and holds the frame steady even in wind. For productions shooting in Abruzzo we deliver it straight to location along with the rest of the camera department.
