Description

The DJI RS 3 Pro is the gimbal we mount most often on sets with compact cine cameras: the extended carbon-fibre arms comfortably take a Sony FX6 or a BMPCC 6K with fast lenses, and the 4.5 kg tested payload leaves headroom for a microphone, transmitter and follow focus. The automatic axis locks speed up every setup change: power it on, it unlocks itself, you shoot.

Compared with the previous generation it adds a 1.8" OLED touchscreen, a third-generation stabilisation algorithm and native compatibility with the LiDAR Range Finder, for reliable autofocus even on manual lenses. We rent it with plates, an extended base and a case; on request we pair it with dual-handle grips or the Tilta Float system for the longer days.
