Description
Ten meters of track change the grammar of a scene: tracking shots, slow push-ins, oners. The GFM Skate Dolly with Turntable is our solution for moves on rails: a low, stable platform built by Grip Factory Munich, a rotating turntable to orient the camera column, and wheels that roll along the track with no vibration visible on the monitor.
The rental package includes 10 meters of straight track, enough for most narrative moves. The bazooka column is not included and is added separately, so you build the rig around the camera height the scene calls for; on uneven ground, wedges and apple boxes are all it takes to level everything.
The usual pairing is with our GFM bazooka column and a fluid head. Transport is demanding in weight and volume: that's why we bring it to set ourselves, anywhere across Abruzzo, and on request we lend a hand laying the track too.
