Description
On cine sets, DoPchoice softboxes are known for the time they don't waste: the Snapbag Octa 5' pops open on its own in a handful of seconds thanks to self-tensioning ribs, with no speedring to assemble and no rods to fit in the dark. Five feet — about 150 cm — of octagonal surface that turn a powerful COB into a soft key with a round, natural catchlight in the eyes.
The fabrics are a step above consumer softboxes: they withstand the heat of the most driven fixtures and keep color temperature neutral over time. On the front, the 40° SNAPGRID grid clips on in a single motion, to control spill without sacrificing softness.
We rent it at €20 a day, and it's the octa we recommend when build times are tight, as they tend to be on commercial sets. Delivery across the whole Abruzzo region along with the fixture it mounts on.
