Description
A full day of handheld shooting is paid for in your lower back and traps: the Easyrig Vario 5 shifts the camera's weight from your back to your hips through the overhead arm and, with tension continuously adjustable from 5 to 17 kg, covers any configuration, from a rigged mirrorless to a full shoulder-mount cinema camera.
The Serene arm adds what the Easyrig alone doesn't: two-axis spring damping that absorbs the vertical bounce of your stride, delivering smoother footage even at a fast walk. It doesn't replace a gimbal — the camera stays handheld, with all its responsiveness — but it softens the image just enough for documentaries, reality and reportage.
For rental we often pair it with our gimbals, to support them through long days. We bring it to set across Abruzzo, pre-adjusted to the operator's size if you give us height and build in advance.
