Description
For anyone shooting with photo lenses — mirrorless, documentary, weddings, social content — we keep the NiSi Variable ND filters in 72, 77 and 82mm on rental. They thread onto the front filter ring and let you meter exposure by turning the ring, with no trays, matte boxes or boxes of fixed glass to carry around.
In practice that means wide apertures in full sun for shallow focus, the 180-degree rule respected even at noon, and quick transitions when the light shifts. Hard stops on the ring help you stay within the rated range, avoiding the cross pattern typical of variable NDs pushed past their limit, and the nano-coated glass wipes clean in a second.
With three diameters we cover most kits out there; if the lens has a smaller thread, a step-up ring is all it takes. Pickup at our base or on-set delivery across the region, from the coast to inland Abruzzo.
