Description
Two hundred watts that work like a 750/1000 W tungsten: the K5600 Joker-Bug 200W is the compact HMI PAR that solves daylight when available power is scarce. The square-wave electronic ballast is flicker-free, accepts inputs from 90 to 265 V, and its low power draw lets you plug it into any household outlet without tripping anything — the reason it's a standard for interviews, documentaries and car shots.
The 200 W MSR/HMI lamp at 5600 K delivers true daylight, and the set of interchangeable lenses covers beams from roughly 5° spot to 65° flood. The "Bug" design is the other ace up its sleeve: the bare head slots into softboxes and lanterns, turning it into a soft source in a few minutes.
The rental kit arrives complete with ballast, lenses and cables; for those shooting in Abruzzo we deliver it to location already tested, with a steel stand recommended separately.
