Description
Lifting 30 kg to nearly four meters by hand is a two-person job with plenty of risk. The Kupo 483BT Wind-Up turns it into a job for a crank handle: three sections with a rack-and-pinion column, a self-locking device that prevents accidental drops even if you let go, and a maximum height of 3.8 meters.
It's the right stand for mid-size Fresnels and HMIs, heavy heads and fixtures that need to stay up in the air for a full shooting day. The 55, 45 and 38 mm sections and its own 22 kg weight give it a stability that lever-lock stands simply don't have; the leveling leg helps on the uneven floors you find on location.
We often rent it out paired with boom arms like the Manfrotto 425B, which need exactly this kind of base. On-set delivery throughout Abruzzo, alongside the rest of the lighting package.
