Description
Two tools for the price of one: the Manfrotto 420B Combi-Boom starts as a 3.9-meter light stand and, in seconds, converts into a telescopic boom, with a counterweight bag included to balance the load. The arm extends to roughly 1.9 meters: just enough to place a hairlight above your subject or a backlight without the stand creeping into frame.
In vertical mode it holds up to 9 kg, while in boom mode it needs loading with judgment: it's built for lightweight LED panels and compact softboxes, not cast-iron Fresnels — for those we have the Mega Boom and the wind-up stands in our rental inventory.
It's one of the first things videographers add to an interview kit: light thanks to its aluminum build, quick to set up, and we deliver it with the rest of the gear, from the coast to inland Abruzzo.
