Description

A reliable daylight to build almost any lighting setup around: the Nanlite Forza 500 pushes 500W at 5,600 K with over 93,000 lux at one meter using the reflector and, thanks to CRI 98, renders color more faithfully than many rivals in its class. The head weighs just 2.5 kg, so it sits comfortably on a medium stand even with a softbox mounted.

The Bowens mount takes the whole range of modifiers: a Fresnel for a controllable beam, a lantern for ambience, deep parabolics to throw it from a distance. With two optional 26V V-Mount batteries it also works where mains power doesn't reach — a common situation on rural Abruzzo locations.

In our rental inventory it's the workhorse for daytime exteriors and for faking sun through windows. If you want the same punch with adjustable color temperature, look at the Forza 500B II, which we handle the same way.
