Rent Specialty Polyboards (Silver, Gold, Mirror)

Description

When a white bounce isn't enough, the Specialty Polyboards come into play: panels with a white side and a silver, gold or mirror side to build reflections with character. Silver gives a harder, cooler light that holds up well over distance; gold warms skin tones and is a classic for golden-hour portraits; the mirror face behaves like a mirror board, throwing the sun back almost intact even many metres from the subject.

These are surfaces we use mainly outdoors, where it pays to work with natural light instead of firing up a fixture: a sensible choice for anyone shooting in Abruzzo's locations between coast and mountains. The white back can still be used as a neutral bounce.
