Not every card marketed as fast can hold up under professional recording. The V90 rating of the Angelbird AV Pro MK2 128GB SDXC certifies the guaranteed minimum, but this card does far more: sustained write of 260 MB/s and read up to 300 MB/s on the UHS-II bus. In practice, that means high-bitrate 4K and 6K and ProRes to external recorders without ever filling the buffer.
It's the media we pair with dual-SD-slot mirrorless cameras and monitor-recorders, where a slow card is the most common bottleneck. The Angelbird build adds protection from impact, X-rays and extreme temperatures.
Rental is per day and it also makes sense as an emergency backup: we add it to the camera kit and you'll find it on set with the rest of the gear, delivered across the Abruzzo region.
