Description
The mist effect is back everywhere, from music videos to series: sources that bloom, softened contrast, that cinematic patina that takes the edge off digital. The NiSi Allure Mist Black 4x5.65 Filter Set achieves it while keeping the blacks solid, because the dark component of the filter stops the veil from lifting the shadows.
The 1/8 and 1/4 grades included cover the two typical uses: the 1/8 as an "always mounted" filter for a barely perceptible softening, the 1/4 when the halation on the lights needs to become part of the visual language. The 4 mm optical glass slides into the trays of any standard matte box.
