Where black mist holds the shadows back, white mist lets them breathe: the NiSi Allure Mist White 4x5.65 Filter Set spreads the diffusion across the entire tonal range, with highlights that open into a soft halo and an airier overall contrast. It's the ethereal look par excellence: flashbacks, dream sequences, fashion films, high-end wedding video.
The set includes the 1/4 and 1/8 grades: with the 1/8 you get a light veil that softens faces in backlight, while with the 1/4 the atmosphere becomes explicit. Watch out for strong in-frame sources, which bloom considerably with white mist: it's part of the appeal, but it needs to be balanced at the lighting stage.
