One look against the light is all it takes to recognise it: the glass in the Tiffen Glimmer Glass has a silvery sparkle that's almost a trademark. In front of the lens it translates into highlights that bloom gently and smoothed skin tones, while the image keeps an overall sense of sharpness.
The Tiffen Glimmer Glass 4x5.65 Filter Set we offer on rental includes the 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 grades: the 1/8 is discreet enough to stay mounted for the entire shoot, while the 1/2 states the look openly. It's the filter we reach for most often to take the digital hardness off modern lenses on interviews, portraits and narrative work.
ColorCore construction on 4 mm glass, compatible with any cinema matte box. If you're shooting in Abruzzo we bring it straight to set, along with the NDs in the same size.
