Description

The shoulder rig is still the most direct way to shoot handheld with steady, natural framing: three points of contact — shoulder and two handgrips — instead of your arms alone. We offer various shoulder-rig models for rent, from lightweight rigs for mirrorless bodies to configurations with 15 mm rods, rear counterweight and baseplate for cinema cameras.

The advantage over a gimbal is the feel: the operator's organic micro-movement, which on documentaries, drama and moving interviews is often exactly what you're after. On top of that there's no electronic balancing to do: mount the camera and roll.
