Description
A reliable video village starts with the radio link. The Teradek Bolt 6 750 transmits the camera signal with latency under a thousandth of a second — effectively zero-delay — using the 6GHz band, far less crowded than 5GHz on sets full of wireless networks and follow focus. The 1 TX / 2 RX setup feeds video village and DIT (or the DoP's monitor) at the same time, with a range of up to 750 feet, roughly 230 meters line of sight.
The transmitter accepts 3G-SDI and HDMI and carries 10-bit 4:2:2 video up to 1080p60, with AES-256 encryption and pairing managed through the Bolt Manager app. It's the solution we recommend for feature films, commercials, and documentaries where monitoring can never drop.
The rental kit ships tested, complete with antennas and power supplies; for productions shooting between coast and mountains in Abruzzo, we deliver it straight to location.
