Description
Controlling exposure on exteriors without touching the filters at every change of light: that's exactly what the Tilta Mirage Matte Box VND Kit is for. The 95mm variable ND module covers 1 to 9 stops with mechanical hard stops that keep the classic polarization cross at bay, and the front ring can be motorized with a Nucleus Nano to vary exposure during a camera move.
The body weighs about as much as a single 4x5.65 glass filter, so it's at home on gimbals and handheld work too. It mounts clamp-on to the 95mm front of cine lenses, or onto stills lenses with the included 67/72/77/82mm rings; the kit also includes a 15mm LWS rod support.
