Description
On compact gimbals every gram counts, and the Tilta Nucleus Nano II is the wireless follow focus we put out for rental when the setup has to stay light: mirrorless on a single-handed gimbal, run-and-gun configurations, shooting in tight spaces. Compared to the first generation, the motor has significantly more torque, so it handles stiff barrels and stills zooms without slipping.
The control wheel drives up to two motors (focus plus iris or zoom), all powered over USB-C with a wide voltage tolerance: you can draw power from the gimbal battery or from an ordinary power bank. The 2.4 GHz link stays stable up to around 90 meters, well beyond what an operator with an assistant in tow needs.
It's the accessory we pair with the mirrorless bodies and lightweight gimbals in our inventory; if you're shooting in Abruzzo we deliver it straight to set, updated and with toothed gears included.
