Anyone who works rigged will appreciate the philosophy behind the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K: a full-frame box camera that records Blackmagic RAW 6K to CFexpress and features threaded plates on every side, letting you mount handles, monitors, transmitters and follow focus exactly where you need them. Our rental kit includes the dedicated monitor, so the body arrives ready to roll.
It's the right pick for narrative work, commercials and music videos where the camera lives on a gimbal, crane or car mount, but it's equally at home in the studio as a locked-off body. The dual native ISO of 400/3200 keeps low-light scenes clean, and BRAW files keep post flexible without dragging out your offload times.
We supply it with your choice of L, EF or PL mount, so you can pair it with your own lenses or our cine sets; if the production shoots in Abruzzo, we deliver it straight to set, already configured.
