Description
A 960-gram body and a 6K Super 35 sensor with global shutter: the RED Komodo 6K redefined what a compact camera can do. The global shutter eliminates any rolling shutter distortion, so whip pans, in-car shots, heavy-lift drones and vehicle rigs all deliver perfectly solid images.
It's not just a crash cam: it records REDCODE RAW internally to CFast 2.0 and the color match with other RED bodies is immediate, which makes it a natural B-camera alongside the Gemini. The Canon RF mount also accepts EF and PL lenses via adapters.
For rentals we often propose it paired with compact gimbals: its light weight allows setups that would be at the limit with other cinema cameras.
