Concerts, candlelit interiors, night exteriors: the Sony A7S III remains the reference when there's little light to work with. The 12.1 MP full-frame BSI sensor climbs the ISO scale with a level of noise control few bodies can still match, and records 4K up to 120p in 10-bit 4:2:2.
The 15 stops of dynamic range in S-Log3 leave plenty of headroom in the grade, 5-axis IBIS helps with handheld work, and the 4:2:2 files hold up well even for chroma key. We see it often on events, documentaries and live music videos, paired with fast G Master lenses.
