Description
Just under 900 grams of body and a 4K full frame sensor with dual base ISO 800/12800: the Sony FX6 handles most fast-turnaround jobs, from documentary to branded content. The second base at ISO 12800 makes handheld night shooting possible where other cameras would need a dedicated lighting plan.
The built-in variable electronic ND, 4K up to 120 fps and the S-Cinetone profile ready for quick delivery make it the right tool when post schedules are tight. On a gimbal it's among the easiest cinema cameras to balance, full stop.
It's the rental we suggest to two- or three-person crews: the color matches well with the FX9 and Burano, so it also works as a B-camera on multi-body Sony projects. We prep it with the XLR handle and accessories and bring it to set across the region, from the Adriatic to the Abruzzo interior.
