Description
Built for high-end documentary work, the Sony FX9 remains one of the most balanced full frame cameras in our catalog. The 6K sensor downsamples to 4K with more detail than many native 4K cameras, while Fast Hybrid AF with face detection holds focus even when you're working solo, with no focus puller.
The real ace is the variable electronic ND from 1/4 to 1/128: you go from an interior to full sun by turning a dial, without touching aperture or filters. With dual base ISO 800/4000 and the 10-bit 4:2:2 XAVC-I codec, it covers reportage, branded content and second unit without complicated workflows.
We supply it with the loupe already fitted, ready for shoulder use. For rentals we suggest pairing it with stabilized E-mount zooms: it's the setup documentary shooters ask us for most often when filming among Abruzzo's hill towns and natural locations.
