Description

Conceived as a complement to Kit 1, the DZOFilm Arles Kit 2 also works beautifully on its own: 21, 35, 50, 100 and 180mm form a classic progression for narrative and interviews, with the 35-50 pair as the working focal lengths and the 180mm for cutaways and compressed details. The three central focal lengths open to T1.4, while the 180mm reaches T2.4.

The Arles cover the VistaVision format (46.5mm image circle), so there's no limitation on full-frame cameras in PL mount; the shared 95mm front keeps every change quick. The rendering is sharp but not clinical, with a soft focus transition that helps a great deal on faces.

At €200/day it's the most accessible way to bring five bright full-frame primes onto a set. Combined with Kit 1 it rebuilds the entire ten-lens series. On request we deliver it straight to location for productions working in Abruzzo.
