Description
Four primes that fit in a backpack: the Sony 28, 35, 50 and 85mm f/1.8 kit (f/2 on the 28mm) is the practical choice for shooting light without giving up speed. None of the four lenses exceeds 380 grams: they balance on a gimbal in seconds and lens swaps don't slow the set down.
We recommend them for interviews, weddings, documentaries and run-and-gun work; the 85mm f/1.8 in particular remains one of the best quality-to-weight ratios for close-ups on E mount. In low light, the f/1.8 aperture makes a real difference over kit zooms.
Renting the complete kit costs 70 EUR per day and it's among the most booked by lean crews working in Abruzzo. On request we round out the quote with variable ND filters and hoods.
